The following listings contains reviewed preliminary data and assistance is being sought to verify data being held. Specific listings have been developed so that it is possible to focus on areas where specific pieces of data needs verification. Additional information is required to fill in the many missing gaps where the story is not yet complete. Data Definitions defines the information being sought. Currently most hash chapters are listed as active whether or not they actually are. Prority is to identify that Hash Chapters that are dead so that listings can clearly show that. Providing the location of the Hash Chapter will assist group Hash Chapters in the same area together.

Of particular interest are the instances where the Founder is unknown. Details of Hash Chapter Founder (Father) are desperately being sought to ensure that the Hash Chapter does not need to be a bastard throughout life.

The Hash Genealogy is based along Matriarchal lines and there are many instances where the Mother Hash of a Hash Chapter (the hash chapter that the Founder (Father) ran with or was influenced by to start the new Hash Chapter) is not known. This group is separated as they become estranged in not knowing who their Mother was. Many go on the become a mother to new Hash Chapters but the Lineage can be limited

Without any signs of who was hash mother was Hash Chapters in this group have the supposed Founder (Father identified). In some instance there is not even an approximate date when Hash Chapter was first formed. Copy of early document for the Hash Chapter to place in the on line Archive would be valuable.

Hash Chapters where minimal information offered was the name only, true orphans without any inkling as to who was the Mother and who was the Father. In many instance there is not even a nominal date of Birth. In some instances the Hash Chapter names could be just a misunderstanding and the origins of the correct Hash Chapter has been appropriately recorded under a more appropriate name elsewhere in another group. Assistance in cleaning up these listing will be appreciated.
